The novel tells the story of Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas who is swept away by a tornado to a magical land. In this strange world, she embarks on a journey with her friends: the Scarecrow, who seeks a brain, the Tin Man, who wants a heart, and the Cowardly Lion, who is looking for courage. Together, they travel to the Land of Oz to meet the wizard they believe can help them fulfill their wishes. The story is filled with lessons about friendship, bravery, and self-discovery.
