The novel tells the story of Victor Frankenstein, a medical student who creates a living being from parts of human corpses. After giving life to the creature, Frankenstein regrets his actions and runs away from the responsibility of caring for it. The creature, treated cruelly and feeling isolated, becomes angry and seeks revenge on its creator. The story explores themes of ambition, creation, regret, and the consequences of neglecting responsibilities.
