Little Women

The novel takes place during the American Civil War and tells the story of four sisters from the March family: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. Each of them has a different personality, but they share love and mutual support for each other in the absence of their father, who is away fighting in the war.
The story begins with them as little girls and follows their lives into adulthood, as they face challenges such as poverty, aspirations, love, illness, and sorrow.
